Convert between common pressure units instantly
This pressure converter supports instant conversion between nine common pressure units: Pascals (Pa), Kilopascals (kPa), Megapascals (MPa), Bar, PSI (pounds per square inch), Atmospheres (atm), Torr, millimeters of mercury (mmHg), and inches of mercury (inHg). Select your starting unit, enter a value, and see the equivalent pressure in every other unit.
Select the unit you want to convert from using the "From" dropdown, enter a numeric value, and click "Convert" to see the corresponding pressure in all supported units. Use this tool for engineering, meteorology, scuba diving, tire pressure, vacuum systems, or any application requiring pressure conversions between SI, imperial, and other conventional units.
Torr and millimeters of mercury (mmHg) are nearly identical. 1 Torr is defined as exactly 1/760 of an atmosphere, while 1 mmHg is the pressure exerted by a 1 mm column of mercury at 0 °C under standard gravity. The difference is approximately 0.000015 %, making them interchangeable for most practical purposes.
To convert PSI to Bar, divide the PSI value by 14.5038. For example, 30 PSI ÷ 14.5038 ≈ 2.07 Bar. To convert Bar to PSI, multiply Bar by 14.5038. This is a common conversion for tire pressure and hydraulic systems.
