Count the exact number of days, weeks, and business days between any two dates
The Day Counter calculates the total number of days, weekdays, weekends, and individual day-of-week counts between any two dates. It also shows a formatted difference in years, months, and days, plus a visual calendar of the weeks between the dates. This tool is useful for project planning, event countdowns, and understanding date spans.
The calculator counts the number of days from the start date to the end date inclusive — i.e., the difference plus one day. For example, from Jan 1 to Jan 3 gives 3 days. You can interpret the total as the length of the date range including both endpoints.
Weekdays are Monday through Friday. Weekends are Saturday and Sunday. The breakdown section shows the count for each individual day of the week, so you can see exactly how many Mondays, Tuesdays, etc., fall within the date range.
